Madrid Girls U16 Win Nomads!!!

Girls under 16 Win Coast Silver!

The Madrid girls under 16 won the Coast Soccer League's Silver North division with a 9-2-3 overall record. The team also went 2-1 in League cup falling in the second round to CSL Premier team Wolfpack 1-3 in a game that was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. GREAT job girls!

Madrid Girls U16 Win Nomads!!!
Atletico Madrid, USA girls under 16 soccer team won the Nomads College Showcase this past weekend in San Diego. The team went 5-0 overall and scored 13 goals while only giving up 1. Andrea Zimkowski (St. Joseph HS) scored 4 goals during the weekend including both goals in the final. Karlee Owens (Arroyo Grande HS) had 3 goals for the weekend.
Madrid defeated United Onyz (Oregon) 2-0, Odyssey Red 91 (Fresno) 1-0, Flagstaff 91 Red Flash (Arizona) 6-1, Bangu Tsunami (Minnesota) 2-0 and in the finals defeated TVSA Hawks 2-0.
